Who is responsible for your data
Irais Salinas, operating as Akaal Healing, based in Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, Mexico, is responsible for the personal data you share through akaalhealing.com, by email or by WhatsApp. Contact: hola@akaalhealing.com.
What data we collect
- Identification and contact data: name, email and phone or WhatsApp number.
- Booking data: date, time, time zone and language of your session.
- What you choose to share about what you'd like to work on in your session.
- Payment confirmations. Card and PayPal data are processed by PayPal; we never see or store your card details.
- Basic, anonymous usage data from the website (pages visited, device, approximate location) if analytics cookies are enabled.
Some of what you share about your emotional wellbeing may be sensitive. We only use it to prepare and give your session, we keep it confidential and we never share it with third parties for their own purposes.
Why we use it
Primary purposes: to schedule and confirm your session, send your Zoom link, process your payment, give your session, send aftercare guidance and answer your messages.
Secondary purposes: to send you free meditations, news about group programs and occasional emails. You can opt out at any time by replying to any email or writing to hola@akaalhealing.com, without affecting your sessions.
Who we share it with
We rely on trusted providers that process data on our behalf: Cal.com (scheduling), Zoom (video sessions), PayPal (payments), Netlify (website hosting and forms) and Google (email and, if enabled, analytics). Some of them may store data outside Mexico. We do not sell your data.
Cookies
The site uses only what's needed to work. If we enable analytics or advertising tools (such as Google Analytics or the Meta pixel), we'll update this notice and, where required, ask for your consent.
How long we keep it
We keep booking records for as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal and tax obligations, and then delete them.
Your rights
You can access, correct, delete or object to the use of your personal data (ARCO rights), and withdraw your consent, by emailing hola@akaalhealing.com with your name, the request and a way to verify your identity. We'll answer within 20 business days.
Changes
We may update this notice. The current version will always be published on this page with its update date.
